Foundations of Design

I have been teaching both 2D and 3D design on the university level since 2020. Students work with a range of physical and digital processes and media.

Ceramics

I’ve been teaching ceramics to students of all ages since 2011. Classes cover all major techniques and many firing styles. Portfolio contains student works from courses taught at the university level.

Jewelry

My training includes a secondary concentration in jewelry & metalsmithing: I have been teaching jewelry including hand and loom beading since 2016.

Graphic Design

I am majorly self-taught in graphic design, having worked as the designer for a private studio, and now teach several courses at the university level, including page layouts, logos and letterforms.

Online Teaching

I also lead a robust online curriculum in Art Appreciation: an overview of art history, philosophy and introduction to design work. Below you can see samples of my online lectures available via YouTube:
